fall 2010 series: accessories edition

I always love getting new pieces for Fall. It’s the only time of year when I’m practically guaranteed to consciously go out shopping with a very specific list in mind (or written down on a scrap of stationary in my bag — where it’s been for the past month — just waiting impatiently to be put to good use). This year, I’ve been loving the clothes and accessories designers have been putting out — all classic, solid pieces perfect for any season, really. I’ve been especially impressed with J. Crew and the utilitarian-chic looks they’ve crafted with a perfectly balanced combination of leather, silk, canvas, and sequins. But more on that later, because here’s a small snapshot of the accessories I’ve been coveting for Fall 2010 — plenty of sparkling gems and fabulous shoes from J. Crew (bien sûr…) and some other pieces on my ever-growing wishlist.

What’s on your mind for Fall 2010?
